I’m the eyes behind the camera at Golden Valley Ranch Photography—a wife, mom, and proud country girl through and through. Born and raised in Northern Minnesota, I’ve built a life around the simple joys of country living: riding horses, playing with my dogs, and soaking in the beauty of the outdoors.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me in the kitchen, crafting custom leatherwork, kayaking, or taking long walks with my dogs. But my heart truly belongs to the saddle, where I spend hours exploring the winding trails of our local state forests and parks.

Family is everything to me. My husband and I have been married for 26 years, and our 22-year-old son has recently started his own career here at home. He’s my greatest inspiration—the reason behind so much of what I do.

Photography has always been a passion, but it truly took off in 2021 when my son needed senior photos. I struck a deal with him: I’d take the pictures, and we’d use the money saved to bring in a BBQ truck for his graduation party. Turns out, hiring a photographer would have been cheaper—but I had so much fun that I haven’t been able to put my camera down since.

That moment sparked something in me, and I’ve been capturing life’s beautiful moments ever since. Through countless hours of self-study, hands-on clinics, seminars, and workshops, I’ve honed my skills in both natural light and flash photography. This versatility allows me to offer stunning outdoor portraits as well as polished studio sessions—turning your memories into beautiful artwork.
